Welcome to northern Michigan and Fairchild & Green Realty, the friendly offices in "downtown" Lake and Lake George. Our area is Home to four seasons of fun and relaxation, the communities of Lake and Lake George are in heart of Clare County, just 15 minutes from the junction of US-10 & US-27 freeways. Our map and travel time chart will show just how convenient our area is to your home, yet you still get that up-north feeling and hospitality.

You will find at least 19 lakes within 10 miles of our offices- all types from water ski/jet ski paradises to quiet fishing lakes with no motors allowed. The Muskegon River, Middle Branch River and Chippewa Rivers are also nearby for canoeing, tubing or fishing.

You will find Hunting - Everything from game to mushrooms, on your own private land or the hundreds of acres of nearby state owned land. Close to golf courses, ski areas, ORV and Snowmobile trails. The Rails to Trails runs right through the middle of Lake, you can’t get closer than that.

Lake George Boosters Club

Breakfast the 1st Saturday of each month at our clubhouse 2 mile north of Lake George on Bringold Rd. Serving Pancakes, Eggs, Hash Browns, Sausage, & Biscuits. Cost $5.00 for all you care to eat. Proceeds go toward our community works and our building fund. The Club is always ready to welcome new members, a great value for only $15.00 per year which includes, activities at our clubhouse, 2 free parties, social nights, card games, and camaraderie.

Lake George Booster Club will be holding chicken bar-b-que All You Care to Eat on Sunday September 04, 2005 4PM - Price $6.00 for adults $3.00 for children. Clubhouse located 2 mile North of Downtown on Bringold Rd, just 3 miles from the Ball Fields. Come out and eat up.

Wig Society is having garage sale at the old hardware Sat Sun Sept. 3-4 2005, to benefit cancer patients of Clare County.

Lake Community Association- L.C.A., a Community activity and improvement organization, which is also preserving the Old Railroad Depot for a community activity building. See the work they have done and see the town model from early railroad days. Come and enjoy our large sandy lakes, the rails to trails, and our friendly, small village atmosphere.
